Brian P. Monk
Principal, Monk Financial Strategies Group
Brian Monk is the Principal of Monk FSG and its subsidiaries. As Principal he manages corporate policy, oversees strategic alliances for the company as well as operations for all lines of business. In addition, he serves as the primary advisor on all accounts. As a part of his commitment to the firm's clients and the financial services industry Brian spends time in Washington DC each year working with members of Congress to address their constituent's financial and planning concerns.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Business in Management, Marketing and Real Estate from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University, and presently serves as an Advisor in the Baylor Mentor Network.
Brian actively supports numerous Houston arts and cultural organizations, including being an active member of the Houston Zoo Asante Society, Menil Contemporaries, and Texas Asia Society Patrons. He is a longtime Houstonian and Bellaire resident. Outside of work and spending time with is family, he and his wife Leslie enjoy traveling abroad, snow skiing and participating in local charitable organizations.
